Seriously? There are like 6 replies since September. I suggest getting rid of it, or replace it with a "moving to the Island" part of the site.

This part of the forum exists because there was a time when school reunions and discussions about old school and teachers were clogging up the PEI Talk forum, much the same way that "moving to PEI" topics currently are.
If we had to remove one of the forums in order to make room for a new forum (and we don't), and we had to base it upon participation levels as you suggest, we would have to look first at the "Book Club", "Island Links" or "Recreational Sports and Hobbies" forums which have lower posting counts.
However, I think the idea of a separate forum for "moving to PEI" topics has some potential merit (although I would initially be concerned that a great deal of members who are not "moving to PEI" would not navigate to that forum and therefore not be contributing answers to the questions being asked) and the admins will discuss the concept.
Thank you.

Perhaps a separate forum isn't needed as much as an f.a.q post that answers all the most common questions. Rather than repeating all the answers to the same questions each time in each thread, posters could just direct newbies to that FAQ.
I would also wonder if the asking of these questions isn't so much about the answers as it is a means to making initial contact with Islanders. An FAQ, or a forum in which few "regulars" visit might cause these initial contacts to be less fruitful, which isn't really a good thing.

Craiger,
Reminiscing about your days of learning may not be such a bad idea, as it is forum and not form.
